HOW IT WORKS

The Santa Shelter Project plays silent Santa Claus to children who are living in a domestic violence shelter with their mothers here in Chautauqua County. The kids at the shelter send us a list of what they would like from Santa. Then the Santa Shelter Project shops for those gifts and quietly delivers them to the back door of the shelter a few days before Christmas.

Every child receives the roughly the same number of gifts, depending on the cost... and one gift is always a big box... and it's always a toy... because every kid throughout history (you and me included) has hoped and prayed that the biggest big box under the tree has their name on it.

Theses kids at the shelter often worry that Santa won't be able to find them because they aren't at home anymore. They are afraid that they will be forgotten on Christmas morning.

With your help, Santa can make sure that doesn't happen.
